You may well have noticed that the festive season started a little early at Sherfield this year! Thanks to the very impressive team of helpers from Friends of Sherfield, the school has been transformed once again into a homely joyous retreat. Santa’s grotto is looking fabulous and we are all geared up for a wonderful Christmas market tomorrow and hope you can join us for the festivities. Santa Claus will certainly be in attendance and I understand he is very excited about greeting our children (and I’m sure a few Adult believers) and wishing them a very merry Christmas.
With all the joy and cheer, it’s worth taking a moment to consider our senior pupils who have been focused on their mock examinations during this period. They have certainly been working hard and I’m sure their commitment will be reflected in the outcomes they achieve. Their behaviour and attitude towards these very important examinations has been excellent.
If you were fortunate to have attended our Year 5 and 6 show this week, you will have witnessed two brilliant performances. Our pupils once again excelled with a very mature and confident delivery. A special thanks also to Mr Reynolds, Miss Bibby and Mr Rampton for their commitment.
Please enjoy a lovely weekend and I will hopefully see you tomorrow at the Christmas Market.
