The Governing Body is made up of the Chair and senior EiM staff. It is responsible for the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school, and ensuring the school meets the independent school standards.
This includes having responsibility for central policies, particularly those relating to quality of education and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils. The Governing Board is accountable for the overall welfare, health and safety of pupils; and suitability of staff. Additionally, it supervises school facilities and accommodation and the assessment of leadership and management quality within schools. The Board advises the proprietor on all matters, including investment in the school; and has oversight of school improvement plans and their implementation.
