Year 4 had such a fun day on Wednesday. The pupils made a superb effort to dress up as an ancient Egyptian. They enjoyed a host of activities including creating cartouches, finding out about why papyrus was so important to the ancient Egyptians and creating honey and oat balls. The pupils learnt and re-enacted the mummification process with their teddy bears and ended the day seeing which class could wrap a mummy the quickest. Thank you to Alara and Aryton for being a mummy for each of your classes.
The pupils also learnt new Egyptian songs, made a bookmark with a famous Egyptian figure on and investigated a pyramid challenge in Mathematics. Well done Year 4.
