This week Year 4 have been studying habitats. Joao-Ricardo demonstrated that he was able to compare and contrast the same habitat at different points throughout the year, clearly noting the plants and animals that would be living there. Samuel was able to explain how a woodland habitat can change throughout the year. He compared and contrasted his local woods in the summer and winter seasons. He confidently explained how they were different and was able to clearly name a wide range of plants, flowers, trees, insects and animals found there. Darcy provided an outstanding explanation of the seasonal changes that occur between a winter and a summer woodland habitat. Caspar has some great ideas to help woodland wildlife to find food in the winter.
Hattie created a bird feeder as part of the 'Science Super Challenge'.
And Amelia and her brother Aryton (in Year 3) have finished another amazing jigsaw this week!
