Reception Class' topic this half term is ‘under the sea’. In order to really engage with the topic, the pupils were given the opportunity to explore fish.
They found their scales, gills, fins, and key features of their bodies. The pupils described the fish as very slimy, squidgy, smooth and soft.
They learnt fun fish facts such as mackerels have silver tongues and fish have red blood like us! They also discovered the differences between the shellfish and the fish.
