This term year 9 and 10 researched the artist Louise Futon, who creates decorated ceramic face tiles.
Pupils were asked to research a geographical area from around the world and respond to make up, textiles or artists from that region. They were then asked to design and decorate a ceramic tile that forms part of a collaborative art work exhibited outside the dining hall.
The piece demonstrates how well the pupils collaborated in the design process and also how skilled they are when it came to glazing the work. Well done!
