The Nursery and Pre-Reception children, parents and staff enjoyed our annual Guide Dogs for the Blind fund raising sponsored walk on Wednesday 23rd May. The walk was led by German Shepherd ‘Weaver’, a nine month old puppy in training, with his walker Ellen Young. There was a great turn out to support the event with everyone enjoying some lovely refreshments in the Nursery conservatory afterwards. The catering staff made us dog-shaped and bone-shaped biscuits!
Over the last two years we have raised enough funds to sponsor a new-born Guide Dog puppy. We are now waiting for it to be born and it will be named by one of our children. Many thanks to all our supportive parents as always.
