Last week at the extremely muddy ISA London West Regional Cross Country Competition, we were very proud of each and every one of our 55 runners. The course was the muddiest we have ever encountered, making it difficult to navigate due to the sticky and slippery conditions. Completing the course itself was an achievement.
We are excited to announce that we have three Regional Champions this year: Cressida M. (Year 4) won the Year 3 and 4 competition, Dylan E. (Year 7) won the Year 7 competition, and Travis M. (Year 10) won the Year 10 and 11 competition. They have all been selected to represent our region, London West, at the ISA National Finals at Mallory Park on March 9th. Additionally, Year 6 pupil Luke W. earned a bronze medal in the Year 5 and 6 competition, securing a spot on the London West team as well.
Other runners achieving top 10 positions, although we are still awaiting the final team selections for the National Finals, include Henry W. (Year 9), Caiden G. (Year 8), and Evie B. (Year 8).
Just outside the top 10 were Aabha K. (Year 6) in 11th place and Douglas M. (Year 7) in 13th place. We will share the final team selections as soon as we receive them. The full results are as follows:
