Congratulations to Wilf, in Year 11, who competed in the Damon Hill Go Kart Challenge racing against 36 teams, at Sandown Park Esher on the 12th June 24.
His team of 5 named themselves "The Juniors" booked into the Prof Drivers Class, Not Pro-Am or Amateurs. They took on the mighty teams of McLaren, Williams, Historic F1 Johnny Herbert's team, Damon Hills team, a touring car team, and serious other racing teams... And WON!!
Amazing team spirit all round finishing the day with an incredible opportunity to interview with Johnny Herbert himself, who was very impressed by Wilf's win for the team!
