After studying the causes and devastating impacts of the Soufriere Hills volcano on Montserrat, some of the year 9 pupils worked together to create a tourist campaign to encourage visitors back to the island. They created a 5* hotel called Volcano View, offered activities including a helicopter trip over the volcano and planned to sell souvenirs such as a ‘volcano globe’.
