Year 3 and 4 ventured into the woods for a Woodland Walk where they had the opportunity to identify different species of plants and insects. They were also lucky enough to spot a deer during their walk. They also carried out an activity to record different sounds that they could hear amongst the trees. From the rustle of leaves and twigs snapping to the ‘wild wind whooshing through the woods’, they were amazed what they could hear if they stood still and just listened!
