Last term Year 10 pupils completed a project on Micro Bugs. Pupils worked in a variety of media to learn a range of recording skills and accurately observing shapes from nature.
They were lucky enough to partake in a special pyrography workshop, where pupils took a slice of a felled Sherfield tree, drew out their design and then burnt the design into the surface of the wood. The beautiful and intricate stepping stone designs are currently on view in the Wynstow Rotunda, but will be permanently exhibited on the science block next term.
