Year 1 have had lots of fun conducting their first scientific investigation this week to find out which materials are the best for building with. The children had to build new houses for the Three Little Pigs after the Big Bad Wolf blew their stick and straw house down. The children helped plan the investigation as well as make a prediction about which house would be the strongest. They had such a lot of fun when they tested their houses with a hairdryer to see if it would blow the house down just like the wolf did.
