In Outdoor Learning, Year 4 used super listening skills to create Sound Maps of the woods. They plotted different noises that they could hear, including birdsong, the wind rustling the leaves, acorns falling and twigs snapping. The children also built shelters using tarpaulins, and enjoyed escaping the drizzle by sitting underneath.
In Year 4 science this week, the children considered the effect that different liquids have on the health of their teeth. Using eggs to mimic teeth, pupils set up an experiment with different fizzy and soft drinks, to observe what damage these cause.
