Hi, we’re back after a jam-packed half term which is a prime opportunity to review the last half terms work and consolidate knowledge. It is important, however, to break up revision with seeing friends and spending time with family.
During our half term, we focused on completing our art projects as we had a lot of free time. Some of our 6th formers had the opportunity to join the school on the annual Ski Trip returning with funny stories and surprisingly no tan lines! This week we have returned to our desks and are getting back into the work mindset as year 13 mocks are fast approaching.
Sadly, this week there has been a shortage of full-fat milk in the 6th form fridge, denying us of necessary daily hot chocolate. We’ll update you when we’ve received further information regarding the milk.
On a happier note, this week year 12 have the opportunity to go to the UK University and Apprenticeship fair at the Emirates stadium organised by Mrs Seamark the Head of 6th form. We will get the chance to speak to a wide variety of universities, colleges and apprenticeship providers as well as attend vital seminars in order to make informed choices about our future. We think this will give us an insight into the start of the process of applying for university and apprenticeships.
We hope you enjoyed pancake day on Tuesday! Next week we’ll talk about our experience of the fair trip.
