Years 3-8 had a flipping good time on Tuesday making pancakes! Having learned a little about the origins of Pancake Day, why it is still celebrated and how it differs around the world, it was time to get stuck in. The children used their maths skills to measure the ingredients carefully to make their pancake batter before cooking them. They all worked really well as a team and special thanks should go to the Year 8 class who helped the Year 3 and 4 children make their pancakes. It was wonderful to see different ages working together and some real-life maths in action!
