We have had a great start to our Outdoor learning at Sherfield this week. The Year 2s had a great afternoon in the woods, taking time to use their senses to discover things that normally go unnoticed.
The Year 6s took themselves back to World War 1, imagining that they were Captain Liddell VC. Having been shot down by the enemy, he needed to construct a shelter to survive the night. With only a parachute at his disposal, the teams brainstormed ideas on how to achieve this, using a tarpaulin and rope.
