Last Friday, Sherfield hosted the much anticipated move up day, where we welcome our new starters into school for the day and arrange for all students to meet their new form groups and tutors in preparation for September.
This years’ theme for Years 5-7 was Sherfield Survivor, where the pupils were split in to mixed groups competing against one another. The activities included a FIFA tournament, obstacle puzzle challenge, around the world badminton, man hunt, den building and team building challenges in our amazing woods! The range of activities ensured there was definitely something for everyone to enjoy. After an action packed day of activities, the pupils were brought together for a final farewell, before they return together again in their new year groups in September. Overall, the pupils had a fantastic day and we strongly believe the move up day eases any worries and allows the pupils to build friendships with one another.
