It's Mental Health Awareness Week this week and this year's theme is Kindness.
Aliza, in Year 3, has very generously created boxes of essential items to be delivered to families in need around the community and Shrihan, in Year 3 also, has made candles from scratch to gift to our amazing key workers!
Junior Prep have received a daily kindness challenges. The children were challenged to pay a compliment to a family member, write and send a thank you letter to a key worker of your choice, help someone in your house with chores, make a card for an elderly neighbour and/or family member and include well wishes and tell a family member how much you love them and why.
Pippa in Year 1 always tidies up after herself and does at least one chore a day. We think she is a superstar for being so helpful at home.
Hudson in Year 1 made a wonderful card for his nan to tell her how much she is loved and missed right now.
Aabha in Year 1 wrote a wonderful message to her grandad to show him how much she cares.
Bran in Year 2.1 made a card to send a compliment to his Grandpa.
