We’ve had some interesting weather recently and fittingly, children in Year 3 have been studying the weather in Geography this term. They looked at the weather here in England but also researched other countries around the world. Using their research they created wonderful weather posters including lots of interesting facts, presented an assembly on Friday 23 February and became weather forecasters, presenting the weather for each of their chosen countries.
Caroline (Year 8) trains and competes with the Washindi Trampolining Club, Crowthorne. Being in the squad means competing in two South Regional Qualifiers at her age and level, NPD Level 2. Her first ever competition was in Milton Keynes, Sunday 4 February, where Caroline placed sixth and scored sufficient points to qualify for the Regional Finals on 17 March. Caroline’s second competition was in Eastleigh, Sunday 25 February, where she secured second place. Naturally her coaches are extremely pleased with her performance, as are her proud parents. We are all looking forward to the Regional Finals in three weeks’ time.
