Year 10, 11 and 12 Art students have just returned from a 3 night stay in Devon at Manor House, an crafts and activities hotel. Pupils were given the opportunity to experience glass engraving, enamelling, slip casting and Indian block printing, whilst also trying their hand at other activities such as archery and dodgeball.
The work they produced was beautiful and will be showcased in an exhibition later this term.
Pupils also took part in the Art Master Competition, which challenged their artistic abilities, problem solving and working to tight time restraints.
The individual winners from each day were Millie, Alice and Tilly, while the overall joint winners of the competition were Tilly and Josh. Plans are already being put in place to run the trip again next year as it was such a huge success. Dates to be released soon!
