Sherfield School A Level Results 2016
Sherfield School's A level results in 2016 were our best ever with 100% passes and an impressive 82% graded A*-B.
Over 50% of all results were graded A*-A (compared to 25% nationally). In Sherfield School’s strongest subject, mathematics, over 50% were graded A*.
This compares favourably with leading independent schools. Our further mathematics results were particularly good as all students gained A*or A in this most demanding of A levels (compared to 50% nationally).
Students also performed well above the national average in English and Economics - a considerable achievement given that A levels were only reintroduced at Sherfield three years ago. The results reflects extremely well on staff and pupils. We continue to build an ethos of excellence in the 6th form that inspires the whole school.
We formally publish our results here once the results of any remarks and appeals are known. This is usually in November.
